The coaching profession is weird. So one week you tell recruits that Vanderbilt is the best school for them, we are going to do great things, etc., etc., then the next week you say "Forget what I said, Penn State is the best school for you, blah blah blah". I'm amazed that kids would go to a school mostly because of a head coach that they may not spend much time with anyway, instead of the institution, but I guess kids will be kids. I know it happens every time a coach moves, but it always feels a bit unseemly.
