Jeremy Mayfield calls into "Nascar Live"

Yeah, I heard about that last night while listening to the NASCAR channel on the radio. Jeremy Mayfield has a whole lot more to worry about right now given the 18 felony charges he is facing for possession of stolen property and methamphetamines.

The chances that Jeremy Mayfield ever sees the inside of a ride in the top levels of NASCAR again are nil. [Edited to add: This is assuming that Mayfield takes the rehabilitative steps required by NASCAR to become eligible for reinstatement, which he absolutely refuses to do.] I don't know who would hire him to drive for them or what sponsor would pay any money to sponsor a team with Mayfield as a driver.

Yeah, that dude it done. He's just spinning his wheels. Even if he went through all the steps, nobody is going to give him a ride.
