Journal has hired columnist, replaces retired L. Rawlings

Did Lennox leave him his UNC season tickets? UNC rug? UNC screen saver? UNC coffee cup?

$20? If all a whore is charging is $20, then I'm thinking (s)he isn't working his/her mouth very pretty. Either that or (s)he is vastly undercharging for his/her services. Even in Mississippi the going rate has to be higher than that. West Virginia too, although there you get the advantage for not having to pay extra for no teeth.
 
It's a shame when blazing saddles references go unrecognized.
 
As Lenox himself would have said, this thread went downhill faster than a Phil Mickelson lob shot shooting its way down the verdant green of Augusta National's 15th as the crowd cheers reach a crescendo unsurpassed by even the venerable tabernacle choirs of fandom.
 
Scott Hamilton was one of the all time great figure skaters. Good to see him land on his feet after retirement.

Rawlings is a classic faux intellectual. He wrote sports columns that read like long winded movie reviews that use obscure, antiquated adjectives...we've all read them....adjectives and awkward prose that don't even fit the context the insecure author was attempting to frame.
 
Rawlings sucked. He sucked like a glistening newborn baby sucks at the milk-filled bosom of a shapely handmaiden lying in a blistery, albeit wistful, bank of new-fallen snow.
