Judge Moore accused of sexually assaulting/pursuing underage girls in his 30s

I don’t post in the Tunnels ever, I just came here to say the playing of “Teach Me How To Dougy” after Doug Jones’ victory speech was everything I’ve ever wanted

This is pretty amazing

Boy if only the Dems could face a fucking sex criminal in every race they'd bat .500 so fast!
lol, centrists were going to spin this election result no matter who won. Those dipshits used the trash Ossoff campaign consulting firm, Mothership Strategies, outspent Roy Moores campaign ×4, and still only defeated the bigoted pedophile by 1% because black voters saved their ass and came out big.

Wait are you really bashing Jones's campaign strategy?

If a dem can win in Alabama, the lessons are clear:

1. opposition research will play a big role in the next few campaigns

2. all over America Fusion GPS style garage startups are ... well ... starting up

3. There are no doubt plenty of sexual harassment skeletons in plenty of closets and there is plenty of money to be made by exposing them.

4. Inquiring minded voters will want to know.

5. There are no rules in this type of politics. The new rules have yet to be written, if they ever will be. The old boys club rules of boys will be boys are - for the moment - dead.

6. Things will get uglier, a lot uglier, before they get better.

7. Who knows, who will be the next one struck down. Fear and loathing in Washington and other high places with low morals.

8. Say what you want about the deplorable rubes in Alabama but when push came to shove, they did the right thing. Weirdo cradle robbers like Roy Moore, whether they thump the Bible or not, whether they are attacked by the usual suspects or not, simply don't belong in the U.S. Senate.

9. Just because you are a loyal churchman, you don't get a pass on personal morals. The Franken affair seemed to show that perhaps just because you are a reliable, albeit legislatively incompetent, leftist horse's ass, you don't get a pass on regularly being a horse's ass to women.

10. Jones will get a one year shot to firm up his support in Alabama. If he follows the dem leadership, we'll see you around pal.

and a couple mo(0)re:

11. Steve Bannon gambled big and lost big. Why do people almost always over estimate the value of their successes?

12. Mitch McConnell lost and won simultaneously.

13. Dems will go full speed against Trump with sexual harassment charges, if they still have time amid all the sterile Russia, Russia, Russia hysteria. A good exit strategy for nedick, Ranger and company would be to switch to the potentially more fertile topic of sexual harassment. Some clear thinking will reveal that there is probably more to the suspicion of sexual harassment events in Trump's past - complete perhaps with credible witnesses - than there is to the "Putin in cahoots with Trump stole our election" infantility.

I don’t think Putin in cahoots stole the election, Trump won fair and square.

I do think the Trump campaign buffoons stupidly responded to overtures from the Russians and thought they needed their help and talked to the Russians and then lied about it and got themselves into a world of hot water for no good reason because they are a bunch of second-rate people with a lot of money who have hitched their wagon to one of the shittiest people this country has in it.

Sorry, back to your snalysis

Or we could just nominate and elect more women

Lying to the senate and to the FBI about it certainly is, as well as potentially having knowledge of criminal hacking into campaign computers and not reporting it/going along with it/encouraging it.

a special prosecutor?

who lied to the Senate? (besides you-know-who and Clapper, and well I could go on)

if you are referring to Sessions, then you must have missed that the FBI told him only those meetings that were held in the context of the campaign were relevant - this divergent interpretation is hardly a reason to appoint a special prosecutor

nor are the scattering of guilty pleas serious enough for the appointment of a special prosecutor, the FBI could simply have indicted and prosecuted them

if we applied your silly partisan triggers for the appointment of special prosecutors to the Obama Justice Department, then there would be more special prosecutors working now in Washington than there are Congressmen

The rubes didn’t “come through”. The rubes voted for this cat bigly or sat at home. They don’t get one fucking ounce of credit. Fuck those dipshit rubes. Black folks, specifically black women came through via their turnout to vote. And they didn’t just happen to turnout. Black folks worked their asses off to get out the vote. I love that the work of black women beat this bigoted sexist campaign despite the ignorant ass rubes and olds.
