Why not fill our immediate needs with some Junior College players?

Culture change dear fellow. Are you kidding me? Juco players?

Not sure we accept any juco credits. We'd basically be bringing them in as mercenaries, which flies in the face of that stupid "culture" bullshit we're being shoveled right now.

Given that we have 4 scholarship players left, and 6 coming in if they qualify academically (big IF), we can barely field enough scholarship players to scrimmage. Something has to give. Either we bring in jucos, or we add to an already insanely unbalanced recruiting loan by bringing in 7 or 8 players in one class.

Of course we know that half of those players will never finish their career here anyway, so the size of our recruiting classes should even out over the years.

No matter what ultimately happens... the cattle call that is going to be our class next year is going to be fascinating. He's got to do something with the three empty scholarships. And I can only imagine the rationalizing if we bring in jucos to fill in the gaps.

My understanding is that academic department policy (or perhaps admissions policy) is to only accept junior college transfer who would have qualified out of high school. This, combined with the near impossibility of transferring in JC credits, make junior college transfers difficult.

Uh guys? We're already deeper than last year.

Well either we get transfers with like two years eligibility left, or we assume Bz will run off a few more guys the next two years to spread these schollies out evenly.
