Kimton hotel or Graylyn

I'm taking my step daughter to visit Wake Law. She is visiting several schools she was accepted too. I went to Wake and we live in San Diego. I want to give her a good experience of Wake. I'm not up on all the changes downtown so curious what hotel to stay over the weekend. Graylyn or Pimpton? Any recommendations?

Graylyn is more quiet and right at campus. You can pop over to campus and the village very easy.

Kimpton is in the middle of downtown and will have the nightlife. You'll be walking distance to restaurants and bars.

I stayed at Graylin before my visit and I turned out ok-ish.

I didn't even consider the Kimpton.
