LD #2 on SC Top 10

That was definitely a put back dunk not a designed alley oop.
Love the emotion LD plays with.
I might take NBDL over Kazakhstan.

I still can't tell if he actually beat the clock.

Can't believe LD is putting it to my NBADL squad the Maine Red Claws.

Annoying that the NBADL website has 30 second long forced ads.

Pretty good play, but a little disappointing - I was hoping for something like his alley-oop against Georgia Tech. Still the sickest dunk I've ever seen, Blake Griffin included.

Making a few hundred euros tax free and living in great world cities isn't a bad gig at all ... 99% of people would kill for that opportunity. Never understood people who mock guys for playing overseas - it's a great life.
Except it isn't tax free. But yeah it would still be a shit ton more than 12-27k.

I loved LD while he was here. Played with an intensity and passion for Wake Forest. What's more impressive in this picture is not the dunk but the fact there are people in the upperdeck. I forgot what that looked like.

I thought there was an article about Big E playing in Italy that said his income was tax free. Either way I think the team paid for all his housing and shit so year that would be a pretty sweet life.

It's fairly standard among European pro basketball teams for them to pay the taxes for American players as part of their contracts. Pretty sure I remember that from Paul Shirley's book.

I have heard that as well.

Yep, most teams in Europe pay taxes for the players (this is common for all sports - soccer, basketball, etc). This is not the case in England and a few other countries, but is generally true.

US citizens are taxed on their world wide income regardless of the source of the income. They can opt to deduct any foreign taxes paid or they can receive a foreign tax credit.
