The other board says he had to leave the team for personal reasons. He's not on the depth chart for 'ville.

Hope this is temporary and all is well with him.

Clawson said he won't play again.

As much as we have to punt losing our long snapper is not good.

They said on the radio Saturday that Feimster was sick. So it could be a health issue.

Hate to hear that about Fiemster.
He's done a good job. (If not many people know about you as a long-snapper, that means you're doing a good job....ie. no mistakes)

Thoughts and prayers go out to Logan Feimster and his family. Logan was selected 4th team All American pre season by Phil Steele. He was selected the fourth best snapper out of 128 Division 1-A schools. His absence will be a huge loss on the punt team. Logan was not a good snapper, but a great college snapper. The greatest compliment that a snapper receives is that nobody knows your name. Donatello will have his hands full Saturday.

Keep in mind that the snapping motion is similar to a golf swing in that a lot of muscle memory is involved. Correct practice with good technique over time is how a snapper becomes as good as Logan. Additionally, the snapper must be mentally tough and only focus on the snap at hand forgetting previous snaps, good or bad.

**Purely speculation**

Typically health reasons to leave the team are fairly severe, but since everything has been really quiet with news on Logan, so I'm hoping its less serious. As a RS Senior in his final football semester, and a typical college student, it could be something as simple as mono. Lets hope its not something more serious.

This reeks of Wellman. Not satisfied enough to have intentionally sabotaged football and basketball as a whole, he's now moved on to intentionally sabotaging personal achievements, like the #kinalkount. Does this man know no limits?

All the best to Logan as he moves on with life. For the last three plus years he has been a great snapper for Wake. Don't think the words "bad snap" came over the airwaves in that time. And that is what a great snapper does. Nobody knows who he is because he is never called out. Perfection is the expectation.

Wake has had a number of really good long snappers over the years. Joe Zelenka had a pretty good NFL career as a snapper. Doing it right, over and over, no matter what, isn't as easy as it looks.

So he won't snap a lot. Concerned about Donatell on the 20 attempts he will get the next two weekends.
