Why would either of them ever tell anyone this story much less a media outlet?

Seriously, how does this story hit the news media?

Maybe this happens more than we realize but it's just never reported (which seems appropriate).
 
Wasn't this an urban legend for years? Funny that it finally came true. Next week they'll find a dead guy hung from a tree at make out point. Probably find a hook lodged in his car, too.
 
Lol fox news is barely a step above a tabloid. I laughed at the statistic about people watching foxnews knowing less news than people that do not watch the news at all.
