Great move by DM. Get brand out there for all to see.

This is nothing but really great for LOWF.

CBS Sports Network a much different animal than CBS, doe.

And before anyone b*tches, active coaches do this all the time

This isn't even on the main fucking CBS network.

Pete Gillen? Sheesh.

Why would they have analysis on CBSSN while the games are on CBS TNT TBS etc? No ones gonna watch it.

To try to take viewers away from ESPN.

Is ESPN not doing counter programming? I would figure that would be prime PBA scheduling.

Hope he gives a shout out to his homie never nervous pervis

Manning is on tonight from 10pm-1am. The 4 late games are:
9:20 NCSU-LSU
9:40 Hampton-Kentucky
9:50 Wofford-Arkansas
9:57 E. Wash-GTown

I could see the 3 late tips all sucking, and some people turning over to watch highlights from earlier in the day, get commentary on Friday's games, etc. Despite some expected cross-promotion on the other 4 networks, there probably won't be tons of eyeballs on CBSSN, you are right about that. But if Manning shows that he is good and comfortable in that role, he could get further exposure on ESPN, CBS, etc. It's a hell of a lot better than this:

I agree this a good thing in general but nobody is going to see it. Maybe he proves himself and can be on a channel at a time people watch next year when we aren't in the post season. Again.

Anytime your coach is commentating on the tournament instead of coaching in it...no way that's a positive. Not blaming DM for taking the opportunity, but FFS we've really reached the point where we're happy our coach is commentating on the NCAA tournament...ugh

Agree, but not really the choice. It's coach doing something vs nothing. I'll take something.

Can we agree never to post a photo of that troll, at any time, for any reason, other than to announce his death?
