Myrtle Beach travel

My wife hears that there is bad construction on us 220/I-73 near Asheboro. The NCDOT website says it should only cause a "medium" delay.

Anybody gone that way in the last week or so, or going tomorrow? I'd love to know what the real deal is.

Came back that way Tuesday around 3ish and probably slowed down for about 5 minutes (dropping to about 40). Medium delay is an apt description.

drove home today on it. wasn't bad.

we made it through with no problems...in-laws were an hour behind and were stuck for 5 minutes...its no problem
