I hate to choose one over the other. Mike made the transition from Joel absolutely seamless. I'm going to go with Joel simply because this was his creation. I'd vote for Mike for post-MST3K favorite though, I thoroughly enjoy his Tweets.

Both were very good during the films, but I give the nod to Joel because the segments in between film times went completely off the rails in a bad way in the later seasons.
