In the market for a new laptop that is reasonably priced. Not using it for any video games or anything special so solid performance for Firefox, word processing and email is really all I'm looking for. Thoughts on brands and any good deals out there would be appreciated.

And to summarize the threads, get an ASUS or Lenovo with i5 dual core processor, 5GB+/500GB+, 15.6" screen. Will cost about $600.
