They're not a lyric band, and they freely admit to not being good musicians; but New Order's strength is in composing a lush, layered sound that perfectly expresses a mood.
Elegia, written for Ian Curtis, could have been in the thread on what to play at your funeral
Murder, to me, is the perfect expression of psychosis. This should be in a soundtrack.
Your Silent Face, another for Ian Curtis, has a wonderful ethereal quality. For some reason, this is what I imagine flying to sound like.
