Judge rules in favor of the players... Will be interesting to see what happens in the next 24 hours to 1 week with the appeal process.

I'm sure that the owners will file their appeal as soon as the courts open and request that the appeals court stay the order until their appeal has been heard.

I like how the lockout was lifted so teams had to allow players onto the premises. But they did not allow fans to participate in football activities. Technically, they weren't locked out. Definitely waiting to see what rules the judge and NFL apply in the absence of a CBA and also if a stay on the lockout injunction is given once the appeal is filed.

McKelvin and George Wilson were turned away at Ralph Wilson Stadium yesterday. Haven't paid any attention today.

Breaking--Judge Nelson in NFL Lockout case: "Defendants’ motion for a stay pending appeal is DENIED."

The owners will just immediately appeal to a higher court for a stay.

The ruling from Judge Nelson denied the stay yet teams are still not allowing players to use facilities. Even if they get a stay later, they're still in violation of the current ruling now. The owners are definitely not helping themselves right now and courts, including appeals courts, tend to look unfavorably on people who show contempt for the rulings of other courts.

Seems like they could be setting themselves up for further lawsuits as well if they aren't allowing the players to come to work despite a Judge's ruling they have to.

And the lockout is back on...breaking now that the owners appeal has been granted for a stay.
