Fuck the unemployed and high risk, let's go campaign!
Great post, Goon.
I’m not sure if MDMH simply has ideas and doesn’t want to compromise or if he’s simply repulsed by people who don’t share his beliefs.
Big problems get solved by people coming together and sharing their ideas to turn their ideas into better ideas. The NBA bubble is one of the best executed big ideas I’ve seen to address COVID-19. I’m sure that wasn’t just the result of Adam Silver giving his ideas and telling everyone to suck it. A lot of smart professional people got together and came up with a plan and executed it.
That’s what I want from politicians.

Vote Republican, Libretarian, or Green.
What if you don’t think democrats have good ideas?
This is really well said. Many ideologues are so full of hubris and purity that just cant accept something that is better unless is perfectly fits their narrative. Happens every day on the business world and those that embrace the approach tend to excel as leaders and those that don't well, they eventually crash and burn.
Health policy is one area that a compromise could actually work quite well (my thinking has evolved on this quite a bit over the past 8 years). The issue is both the hard left and the hard right think ACA is terribly flawed. But, gasp., imagine a world where a few things are modified that actually drives us to affordable (to the consumer) universal coverage? The issue is the Rs see the ACA as socialism and unless private insurers are eliminated lefty Ds go bonkers. So we are stuck with only a slightly better system than we had in 2014. Thanks hubris.
I’ve come to terms with the fact that the party is not for me and I’ll be forced to make compromise votes for the rest of my life. I’m also coming to terms with the idea that this isn’t really a good place to vent about that idea. I’ll leave yall to it.

does the ball taste better on the playground or at home where you take it?
bitc hes still gonna vote that doesnt mean he has to deal with your bullshit on OGboards. If you're gonna use that "take your ball and go home" expression so inappropriately you should probably just retire it.
I really feel bad for the progressive posters here who feel they've been so persecuted since they've always been so accepting of other opinions.
Beats the RNC which apparently is Trump, more Trump, a side of Trump, and in closing Trump
