I’m not counting on Zion this year.
Pelicans' Zion Williamson to reduce training for 'extended period' after foot rehab setback

When I see this all I see is another dookie that has some weird issue in the NBA, although I think many said his weight would become an issue in the League. It's just weird, Wake puts a low percentage of players into the League that have durable long careers, some very successful (Duncan, Paul Collins) or consistant rotation (Ish, Johnson, Teague), but dook with all it's AA's and ACC PoY, are more likely to flame out or crash out than sustain.
One ranking of dook's top NBA players
10 - Laettner - ok sure not going in the HOF after NCAA PoY and ACC PoY
9 - Boozer - sure screwed the blind owner of the Cavs. Not HOF
8 - Tatum - probably one of the few dookies you would take on your NBA team, if you could choose from all dookies all time
7 - Zion - well a whooping 82 games. Sounds like Oden
6 - Mullins (Jeff) - not HoF, but a long career with some all-star games
5 - Battier - I think on of the few dookies (maybe 2) with an NBA title. ACC PoY but NBA role player with a long career.
4 - Deng - an early one and done (maybe he figure he better get out of the kaye system fast). Still not HOF
3 - Brand - 17 years in the League with a couple of all star games. Not HoF
2 - Irving - played 11 games at dook. I guess an anit-vaxer who I guess didn't go to any classes at dook to learn about science. Some nasty dook like injuries.
1 - Grant Hill - 7 all star games, but huge injury issues missing nearly 4 years.
My only point (ok I hate dook so there are other points) is that despite dook being bestowed AA after AA and ACC PoY and NPoY awards that's the best of the best. Wake has a shorter list that goes like:
6. John Collins - consistent top performer
5. Rodney Rodgers - long solid career
4. Josh Howard - ACC PoY - NBA All-Star
3. Bogues - maybe most domininat little man in NBA history
2. CP3 - HOF career
1. Tim Duncan - HOF
