Liberty is the best team we’ve played so far this year but I still don’t like their chances keeping us under 40 points. On the other hand the Wake defense appears to have better closing speed and contain on the outside than year’s past. Still a lot of room to go there and without Davis that’s an even tougher climb.

That said, Wake is better on both sides of the ball and should be able to outpace Liberty even if the defense falters a bit. I think the score ends up somewhat similar to Vandy but is closer in the middle portions of the game. Hartman and the offense just too much for the Flames.

It won't really be THAT close, but VBS gets a TD on a turnover/short-field situation and then a garbage time TD to narrow the gap. It's enough to make most Deac fans feel as uncertain as possible with Clemson coming to town.

Liberty has shown zero offensive explosiveness. Their first game went multiple overtimes or they would have scored like 17 points. Kaedon Salter has been MEH at best. Wake is going to kill them.
