The unrivaled king of grand, pointless but symbolic gestures.
They've even ruined challenge coins. Ugh
The U.S. Office of Special Counsel is reviewing claims that Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt retaliated against a handful of employees who pushed back against his spending and management, according to three people familiar with the process.
At least six current and former agency officials were reportedly fired or reassigned to new jobs, allegedly for questioning Pruitt's need for a 24-hour security protection — which has now cost at least $4.6 million — as well as his other spending and practices. OSC is in the process of interviewing some of those employees, according to the sources, although an OSC spokesman said the agency cannot comment on or confirm any open investigations.

Let's talk about the Bronx and Queens:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a 28 year old Latina who just beat a 56 year old, 20 year incumbent in a Democratic primary in NYC. She raised $127k and had ~$48k on hand. He raised $2.8M and had ~$1.6M on hand.
Now let's talk about tax cuts:
The White House and Paul Ryan estimated a $4000 - $9000 increase in wages. We're on pace for $500 in 2018...that's about $42/mo. (Note that's at the 6 month mark since tax cuts) Meanwhile corporations have executed about $200 billion in buybacks over the same period.
Now let's talk about corruption:
Let's just say "Scott Pruitt". If you need more details or additional names, lemme know.
SO...
Remember when some of you had said the swamp needed this draining? 'Member that? You had said, "those left folks are so corrupt" and "they just wanna stick it to the poor guy". Remember when you blew up over big bank speaker fees? That actually COST Wall Street money.
Remember Carrier and all the jobs that were getting saved? Go look that up and see how that went, but send a nice farewell to Harley-Davidson first...
...and then realize that Democrats in a staunchly anti-Trump, coastal, elitist city just voted it's own establishment Congressman out in a primary...someone who was being talked about as a potential leader for the party...and raised 20 times as much money as the winner.
Draining the swamp indeed.
