They also did the tomahawk chant towards Elder Phillips.

They did a mocking Maori chant and surrounded Elder Phillips.

They did a build the wall chant around Native Americans.

The beginning of their punishment (if not expelled) should be they are banned from all school activities for the rest of the year and these events should be part of their academic record for all colleges to see.

These were 16 year old boys raised in a elite, rich and culturally bankrupt culture. they were mimicking behaviors they’ve seen elsewhere and the mob mentality can quickly escalate. It doesn’t absolve them from all responsibility but someone hasn’t taught these kids the way to behave and who ever was supervising them on this trip completely failed.

Where the fuck were the school’s chaperones for this trip to keep these boys in check? Someone apparently approved their initial “school chants” why did no one with supervisory authority over these children step in and stop the build that wall chant or the tomahawk chant and get that kid to back off the native drummer?

The Native American man was literally trying to keep the peace between the two groups, and that kid has the nerve (with his moms endorsement) to say he “got in his face.” It’s clear what the kids (and other kids) intentions were, they weren’t subtle about it. Yet folks like Angus defend the kids and the cycle continues.

Yeah, it's pretty amusing - and very revealing of the mentality, fears, and stereotyping of Trumpites - that the kids and adult chaperones just assumed that the black Hebrews were "black Muslims" and proceeded to get into it with them, and then went after the Native Americans with "build the wall" chants when they tried to intervene. They are the original natives, kids. LOL.
 
That's absolutely whataboutism. The students went after innocent people and surrounded them.
