Solid as all the American Experience stuff is. I guess actual American involvement will be covered in the next episode, as that one covered attempts to steer clear of the war.

My grandfather was 9 years old when the war began. I remember his sharing with me as a kid stories about being taunted and threatened because of his German surname. Imagine if this were to happen today, but with a large chunk of the population not necessarily sympathetic to the cause of the other side, but vocally defending neutrality.
