Agree. A big part of his campaign appeal was his machismo. His appointments connected to the military have shown that to be something he plans to actually follow through with.

A huge percentage of "defense" spending is the Pentagon's huge civilian bureaucracy. Cutting that lard has been tried before and usually doesn't get far. They know how to protect their turf. But if Trump really rants to take a crack at it, good for him.
