Magical Mystery Tour Revealed:

The committee has decided to unveil the final week's Magical Mystery Tour to allow the contestants ample time to complete it adequately. So without further ado, your final event:

Pit's Got Talent

Think that you're better at telling jokes than rj? Did you learn guitar in 7th grade to make up for your shortcomings in talking to girls? Do you sing in the shower and don't mind a little exhibitionism? Do you think you can dance better than this guy:

This is your event!

Anchoring the final week of the Olympics is going to be the Pit's Got Talent talent show.

Each country must choose one representative to record his/her talent and email it to pitolympics@gmail.com. All talents will be uploaded to youtube by the council and posted on the event thread during the last week of the Olympics.

Guidelines for acceptable submissions:

1) Videos must be new recordings. As such, each video must be introduced by the contestant saying "This is [board name] competing for [country]"
2) Videos must not exceed 3:00. No video exceeding this length will be accepted.
3) Videos must be received by the Olympic committee by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, June 13th. No videos will be accepted after this deadline (no matter what time your computer says)
4) Videos will be judged by a panel based on creativity and skill.
5) Videos become the public property of the boards upon submission, with full rights to re-post granted to all
6) Any use of performance enhancing drugs, while not technically illegal, is frowned upon
7) Other people may be appear in the video, but it must be clear the the talent is of the poster alone and only the part played by that poster will be judged.

Well damn, you've already put what would have been our talent submission up in your post.

How does one get a VHS tape to Youtube?

Here's the point where y'all should have gone onto stripperweb to ask for team members.

Question, this isn't listed as a week 3 event, yet you've got the due date set for Wednesday, June 13th? Did you mean for it to be the 20th?

The reveal will be week 4 (thus making it a week 4 event subject to the week 4 multiplier if there is one), but submissions need to be in by Wednesday so there is sufficient time to take, host, etc. That is why we revealed it last week, so folks had two weeks to complete it.

Ugh, alright. Just kinda rough to have so many events/submissions stacked in one week next week.

yeah, hence the extra week for this one.

Don't complain too much. last Olympics the details of a lot of the events were revealed on a Monday and due on a Wednesday or Thursday

Plus, the teams have two more members than last time, I believe, so more folks sharing the load

Don't take it personally, IAT, arbys just likes complaining.

Ahh, yeah, just wanted clarification. 5 events is in a week makes it a pretty brutal schedule. Teams should theoretically have a more balanced load, yes. :p

Sorry for wanting to double check on something. Seems like the majority of the complaining in the last two graded competitions has come from other teams, some of it even from yourself. What's that expression about glass houses?
