I don't know. I've used the marine version of that when pressure-washing my boat and I don't think it does anything because the water is moving so fast that the soap never has time to set in. So usually I'll hand-apply the soap, let it soak for a bit, and then blast it off with the power washer. But it might be different on a horizontal surface where the soap is going to sit instead of a hull where it just runs right off.
