This is a popular feeling in the How was your 2016 thread too. Other than Trump getting elected (not saying that's not a big thing), why is everyone saying 2016 was such a bad year? (obviously understood if they're referring to things that happened in their own lives)

Everyone died. Seriously go check the list.
 
This might be the one that hurts me the most of all of the greats who died in 2016. She was a massive part of my childhood as her role as Leia and will always be remembered.
 
Debbie Reynolds was very much loved in Hollywood. Weird that she died the day after her daughter.
