Race Riots in Moscow over the weekend (video)

Russia's ethnically Rus majority is being whipped into a frenzy by far right nationalists the past few years - it exploded over the weekend much as it did in 2010 with a serious of race riots as Russians went and destroyed a bunch of markets where immigrants from the Caucasus / "Stans" work (sparked by the murder of a Russian by someone who may or may not have been a Muslim immigrant outside a nightclub a few days ago). Ugly scenes, and this is just getting worse and not better.

It's a chilling reminder of what ultra-nationalism, fear of immigrants and ultra right wing propoganda can lead to.
