Kid at Wake who is a family friend got a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign in Winston recently. Wants to know what to do. Does a rolling stop come with points? Should he get a lawyer?
My first instinct is pay it and move on, but I guess it is a moving violation, so maybe lawyer up and get it knocked down to non-moving?
If it matters, his insurance is in Texas. Not sure how the whole reporting between states thing works.
