At a Fathers Day dinner tonight the name Ross Gilliam came up. Apparently, he is a D-1 kicker and a transfer from Texas A&M who doesn't want to play football at Wake. Can anybody round out the story? Thanks.

Well, if you were paying full price for Wake would to use all of your free time to be a back-up kicker? Being the starting kicker is pretty much the most thankless job on the team, unless you're an absolute beast (Swank).

Didn't mean to be a douche. Sorry if I offended you with the question. Just was wondering if there was a reason why a kid who was kicking 50 yard field goals in high school and went to Texas A&M to kick doesn't want to kick at Wake.
