Russians think Americans smile too much

Russians would have a bit of trouble saying "Hines" and "smile" (no true long I sound) and "make" (no true long A sound) but not "very" or "special". You kind of did that in a bad Chinese accent :tard:

The sounds they really struggle to say in English are 'W' and 'Th' which have absolutely no counterparts in Russian. Much like English speakers really struggle with the vowel 'Ы' and some of the long consonant clusters (such as здравствуйте - the formal way to say hello - which has 7 consonants and 1 vowel in the first 8 letters ... pronounced kind of like 'zdravstvooeetye')

I was ripping off the KSK Hines Ward schtick. It's hilarious.

But thank you for the language lesson?

I know, I know - I just hate the fake Russian accent that gets used on TV and stuff and movies ... it really doesn't sound like Russians at all.

Guess that should really go in the pet peeve thread.
