George's in La Jolla also good for Fish Tacos

2nded on Hodad's, place is awesome. One of the best burgers in America.

Oscar's Mexican Seafood for fish tacos and ceviche in a plastic cup.

George's on the Cove is pretty solid as well. Sit on the roof.

The owner of Hodad's just died, right? Probs wouldn't go there (I try to avoid Guy Fieri places).

North Park and Hillcrest are fun neighborhoods if you have time. Oscar's Mexican Seafood in Hillcrest is great.

South beach bar and grill in ocean beach. Best fish tacos in the world

Seven Grand is an unbelievable Whiskey Bar in North Park. *Highly recommend as a recent SD resident

Yes, go to Hodad's in Ocean Beach for lunch.

You must walk south along the boardwalk from Pacific Beach to Mission Beach. Stop at World Famous (restaurant) along the way for lunch.

Not in a great neighborhood, but I love Super Cocina on University. If you do go, they will let you sample before your order. Do that.

Cucina Urbana was very good in SD itself - ate there last year.

If you make it to La Jolla, Herringbone and Whisk & Ladle are both superb.

All great, can't go wrong. I second Ironside too, great spot. Hodad's is the shit, but Slater's 50/50 in Liberty Station makes a hell of a burger.

Slaters 50/50 is what I referenced in the CT the other day. 50% bacon just makes it taste like a hot dog to me, your thoughts on the actual 50/50?

RJ should be able to catch a bus down to meet you. You guys should hit up Urban Mo's and hang w some local twinks.

RJ can show you the world...shining shimmering splendid.
