While a cool story, it is somewhat of an insult to all the former college LBs who have played for years and get cut in training camp that this guy gets to ride the practice squad for $400k on a hunch. It's like when the NBA was drafting high school kids like Robert Swift on perceived tremendous upside potential to fill roster spots and never play over the college guys who could have likely contributed more.

Pretty sure he doesn't get the 400k while on the practice squad. Once he failed to make the final roster he would have been cut then re-signed to whatever a PS player gets paid.
