SMH at the Saints....

Just following the lead of Belicheat.

While it is a good point that it takes not only listening to the opposing team's communications, decoding what it means, relaying it to your team then them changing their play call or coverage in response within 20 seconds, the ability to listen to the other team wouldn't exist unless Loomis thought he gained something from it. Probably works for larger plans, such as "we need to pound it up the middle a lot next drive" or "we're going to add a nickel for coverage" or "Jimmy is hurt but he's playing through it". Any of those communications don't tell the next play but they still are confidential communications of the team.

Would definitely help to have the play calls of the teams in your division since you play them twice in a season. It would be interesting to see how the Saints have done in their second games against NFC South opponents as compared to first games against them.

Also, fuck the cheating Saints.

Well... fun fact.... they placed 3rd, 2nd, and 2nd in the division during the years in question (02-04).....

Apparently Mickey Loomis was eaves-dropping on opposing player's headsets during games...

didn't realize it was so long ago. ESPN neglected to mention that anywhere on their giant front page all day story.
