I dont think Childress or Mitchell are busts.
 
Neither would get regular playing time on a good team.
 
No surprise here, minus using the thread to find a way to slam Childress.

Per 40, what sophomore do you eliminate who shouldn't get playing time?

Point Guard A:
11.8 points, 4.9 assists, 4.1 boards, 3.0 turnovers, 37% from the field

Point Guard B:
13.8 points, 5.5 assists, 4.1 boards, 3.1 turnovers, 38% from the field

Who cares. Wake bball is a joke. We're a football/baseball/soccer/tennis school. We have zero bball history.
 
This is good attrition, folks.

Opens up another scholarship to bring someone in who can help.

You can certainly criticize offering him a scholarship to begin with, but this is one of the things I was hoping would happen at the end of the season.

Transfers happen everywhere. It’s good when it’s the “right” players.
 
Wish the young man the best but he should never have been at this level, a definite recruiting mistake like most of that class were

I hope that WF uses the spot to actually bring in someone who can help, rather than just settle for someone to fill the spot like has happened numerous times in the past.

That is a fair concern. But at least the staff has months to find a transfer instead of weeks.

I'd guess, at some point, Manning will probably put Okeke on scholarship.
 
Good luck to him. I don't think Charlotte'll be offering him a scholarship as our class is pretty loaded.
