By giving in to their every wish and demand.Which makes the winning claim absolute garbage. How in the hell did [name redacted] get anyone to commit to him?
I think the Leonard transfer was unsettling to Cav, in addition to the upgrade in talent of our future offers. I don't think he wanted to have to compete for playing time.
?????
You do realize Bz isn't the coach any more?
I think you are wrong on this. He is calling a spade a spade. We won't be making the NCAA in the next 2 years.
Cav is trying to make up for his stupid decision to play for Jeff [Redacted]. I can't fault him on this. He doesn't want to get McKie'd. Travis can only wish that he transferred. Cav is actually doing it.
He's also telling his teammates of the last two years that they mean nothing to him.
You know how he would have a better chance of being on a competitive team? Learn to rebound and play interior defense. And a fucking offensive put-back every now and then wouldn't hurt. 6-9 players who play like straight bitches in the post infuriate me. Especially one who shoots under 30% from three in his first two seasons.
And a guy with guts that works hard just left...
Reminds me of the mediocre kid in pickup ball who skips the game with his friends and instead calls next and picks up the 4 best players in the gym to run with him. Doesn't matter that they never pass him the ball if he wins.
It's a bitch move. Understandable given the situation perhaps, but there's no way to sugarcoat it.
I did that once & ended up on a team w/ Muggsy, Delaney Rudd, Alvis Rogers & Charlie Thomas. We won like 10 games in a row & while I never scored in those game, it's a much better story 20+ years later than stating that I was the best player on a pick up team that included a future professor, a future business owner & a couple of future lawyers.
True, although I always had more fun playing against Tim Duncan than with him. (Although both were fun as hell. I'll never forget how good a passer he was.)

Say what? I didn't realize we overlapped at Wake.
