Spam text messages

How do you stop these? Ordinarily I wouldn't care but when I get them at 3am, it is a pain in the ass.

Not sure what kind of phone you have, but if you're on Android there are texting apps that should assist with that, or you can use an app called Quick Profiles. I use it to put the phone into "Night" mode so that the only sounds the phone makes is phone call ringing (no text or email notification).
