Study finds only the wealthy get represented in the Senate

This always continues this way until you have a worldwide true depression that resets the playing field in a lot of ways. The reality is that in a global economy it favors the wealthy more than any other time in the history of mankind. It used to be that with hard work you could make your fortune by meeting the needs of your geographical location. Now if there is a niche then an international corp probably has the means to fill it. Everyone has to compete with Amazon and Walmart and it makes it difficult. The new industry giants are the techies, and that rules out most of the common folk who may have great ideas and great work ethic, but don't have the skills to compete in the current global economy.
