Go to the Elf's house. We're just a bit West of t
Meanwhile over in Pakistan words cannot express how unbelievable this is. This is the face of extremism. On the one hand women have no right to breathe. On the other, this is the purported path to true gender equality. And us Westies are never to be accepted because this version of Islam is the true path apparently.

Do you believe that council is representative of Islam, or even Pakistani Sunnis?

Dude. You just got suckered by the Pakistani Onion. How dumb do you feel?

DeacMan confirms he is easily one of the dumbest posters on these boards. It's one thing to comment without reading a thread. This is worse. He didn't even read his own link. The tag and comments make it clear. To be fair, I'm sure the right-wing blog or chain email or Fox News he got it from didn't read either.

Oh dear Allah. I love this thread so much I want to marry it and have small (male only, obviously) children with it.

Can't lie, after seeing the child marriage thing a couple of months ago, I thought this was a legit article about the CII; They are legitimate hardline nutsos. After reading it again I did notice the humor, "Sharia compliant feminism" should have clued me in.

the author of that article is most definitely a hamas supporting anti-semite.

thanks deacman!!!!

I fell for it. But this is a real group. The same group that says men can't be charged with rape unless there are 4 witnesses.

lolzzzzzzzz. just awesome

Now the difference between haraam and makrooh is that the former is categorically forbidden while the latter is really really disliked,” Shirani said.

deacman has now entered Lectro territory.

I know it's ridiculous...like anyone in the US would...oh wait...

"This week, an Oklahoma magazine discovered that last summer, Tea Party state House candidate Scott Esk endorsed stoning gay people to death: “I think we would be totally in the right to do it,” he said in a Facebook post.

Esk went on to add nuance to his position: That [stoning gay people to death] goes against some parts of libertarianism, I realize, and I’m largely libertarian, but ignoring as a nation things that are worthy of death is very remiss.

When a Facebook user messaged Esk to clarify further, he responded:

I never said I would author legislation to put homosexuals to death, but I didn’t have a problem with it."

also,

http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/...i_gay_segregation_bill_is_an_abomination.html

"In addition to barring all anti-discrimination lawsuits against private employers, the new law permits government employees to deny service to gays in the name of “religious liberty.” This is nothing new, but the sweep of Kansas’ statute is breathtaking. Any government employee is given explicit permission to discriminate against gay couples—not just county clerks and DMV employees, but literally anyone who works for the state of Kansas. If a gay couple calls the police, an officer may refuse to help them if interacting with a gay couple violates his religious principles. State hospitals can turn away gay couples at the door and deny them treatment with impunity. Gay couples can be banned from public parks, public pools, anything that operates under the aegis of the Kansas state government."

"Supporting the bill on the House floor, Republican state Rep. Charles Macheers proclaimed that “discrimination is horrible. It’s hurtful. … It has no place in civilized society, and that’s precisely why we’re moving this bill.”

I wish the was the onion, but it isn't.

Yeah, that's kind of a tough one to backtrack on.

I'm not saying I would do it, I'm just saying that I might not not do it.
