Norman vs. OBJ will be the best matchup of the season, IMO. Like the butter side up toast being attached to the top side of a cat illustration

Only part that diminishes the matchup is Matt Ryan.. Media will blame him if Norman has a few picks. Can't wait tho.

Ranking NFL head coaches by strategic decision-making

Insider article on best HC strategy decision making based on 4th down aggressiveness, challegne success rate, and clock management. Guess who is #1?

Ron Rivera, Panthers: The undefeated Panthers have the league's best coach according to Strategy Score. No coach has been more aggressive this season. Riverboat Ron has gone for it all six times he has faced fourth-and-1 inside opposing territory in the first half. The rest of the league has played it safe and kicked 28 percent of the time in that situation. Cam Newton deserves some credit, enabling fourth-down aggressiveness with his rushing ability. On four of the plays, Newton kept the ball. He converted all four times.

Rivera shows that coaches can get much better at strategy. Not that long ago -- when the Panthers lost the occasional game -- Rivera was one of the least aggressive coaches in the league.

Figured after last year and not looking so bad you would be glad to know Lafell has return to his oldself, even out pacing Ginn.

According to Pro Football Focus, LaFell has the worst drop rate among wide receivers.

I think LaFail had about 6 drops in his 1st game back.

The notion that LaFell was ever "better" last year is a total joke. The Patriots throw a ton more, so his volume stats were inflated. Only thing that was better was his drop rate. He also had some garbage stats with Garoppolo in.

Cam to Lafell 2011-2013 (including playoffs)= 233 targets for 1939 yards= 8.32 yards per target

Brady to Lafell 2014 (including playoffs)= 133 targets for 992 yards= 7.45 yards per target

And to this day, I've yet to see him make a catch that I would rate as more than "slightly difficult."
