I submit that the marginal revenue productivity theory of wages cannot survive Roger Goodell's $44M salary. He is a below-replacement level pro sports commissioner but is somehow paid more than 2x as much as the league's highest paid player. It's simply impossible to think that employing another Goodell would boost league revenues by twice the amount that having another Aaron Rodgers would.





Marxism is the only way out of this absurdity, IMHO.
