These are the derps for whom even Trump's shit bill is not dumb, short-sighted and cruel enough for. Let's look at their credentials:

Mark Meadows(NC) - BA from University of South Florida. Owned shitty diner and then RE company in Highlands NC

Jim Jordan (OH) - BS from Wisconsin-Madison. JD from Tier 6 law school Capital University. Also likes to put on tight suits and mash his face into other dudes crotches as a form of sport and exercise.

Raul Labrador (Puerto Rico) - BYU and U Washington Law. Unique distinction of being latino and a mormon.

Mo Brooks (AL) -- Duke and Alabama Law, both good schools but loses all points for staying in AL.

Mark Sanford (SC) -- Furman and UVA MBA -- this is also the clown who went AWOL while in office to profess his love for some Argentinian with giant purple nipples he met at a tiki bar on vacay.

Justin Amash (MI) - Michigan and Michigan law. Also does it Greek style.

So two dudes, Amash and Brooks, who are real people, and then a bunch of dudes are are way less that replacement level competency. This is just the leadership, the rank and file gets way more sad.

Congrats pubs, you have the whole congress and you can't govern because this is who you are. Embarrassing.

Put Asheville back in that district and Meadows gets tossed out on his ass.

Hey now, some of us get stuck in Alabama and have little power to change it.

We aren't sending our best and brightest. This is one of many many problems in modern day politics.

Definitely. The best and brightest don't want to put up with that crap.

I can't rep this post enough. Huuuuuge problem in NC legislature. Too many reps who just don't have the brainpower to make good decisions or demonstrative effective leadership (see, e.g., Michael Speciale, who recently sponsored the bill to drop provision in NC Constitution prohibiting secession from the USA -- no college education, other than an associate's degree from Craven County Community College at age 49; this is the motherfucker elected from his district? seriously?). And the more dumbasses who wind up in the General Assembly, the less appealing the position becomes, so there's a snowballing effect.

At least your last Gov had a degree from Catawba College.
