And so the ROY run begins. Collins started tonight. He played 30 min and had 9 and 9. The Hawks are going to buyout Ilyasova.

John Collins, Hawks (10.5 ppg/7.3 rpg/1.08 bpg/57.6 FG%): Collins set a franchise rookie record for field goal percentage and became the sixth rookie in Hawks history to average at least 10.0 points and 7.0 rebounds.
Pretty sure he played fewer minutes and had fewer starts than any other player on the All-Rookie teams.
He got plenty of run but they never ran any plays for him. He'd set the screen on PNR and if he didnt immediately get the ball the only time he'd get the ball again was on a rebound.
I don't know exactly what's going on here, but it seems cool:
