The Republican Party Sucks

Burr seems like one of the Pubs who is at least trying to do right by the American people.
 
Or intended consequences. Yeah why are you troubled? More like relieved.
 
That's what any Republican says when faced with a shooting, or death, or literally anything.

"Thoughts and prayers"
"Troubled"
 
The Republican Party stands for one principle-opposing liberalism. They have not one single other thing that the party can unify around. Can't unify around tax reform. Can't unify around healthcare. Can't unify around oppressing minorities. Can't unify around truly destroying the environment.

Honestly, the best thing the democratic party could do is adopt the 2012 and 2016 republican platforms. We would have universal healthcare, a more progressive tax system, and a lot of work done towards fighting off climate change within the next 18 months.
