Totally Unofficial 2023/24 Premier League Thread

Keep winning corners and it feels like a second is inevitable. Lack of quality up front in this game is noticeable. Werner needs to be a change of pace agent of chaos, but no such luxury with Son out and Kulusevski sick.

Skipp and Hojberg is as uncreative a midfield as Spurs have. Going to be a long January.
 
Two hands into Richarlison's middle back and he writhes on the grass holding the back of his head like he got elbowed or something

It was a foul but that shit is so lame by Richarlison and he does it all the time. An easily unlikable player.

It just can't simply be tactical coaching at this point. Unbelievably naive defending and the same players keep making the same errors.



Timo gets the ball at :06 seconds. Not ideal, but in good shape defensively. Dalot on him with Evans supporting. Varane has Richy. Mainoo and/or Bruno should at least look around to notice Bentancur...but don't as the seconds go by

07 seconds - some Spurs player makes a run, Evans should call the runner and attention to Betancur for Mainoo, instead Mainoo follows the runner that should never be his... and Bruno is oblivious (somehow) to Bentancur's movement to the most obvious place Bentancur would go -- instead opting to mark some grass inside the D

10 seconds as Werner releases the ball, Bruno still nowhere near Bentancur, Mainoo has run himself out of the play, Evans has dropped off way too far (checking Richarlison's run but not looking at Bentancur), and Eriksen is showing his slow ass legs just getting back into shape

not a single Man United player was aware of Bentancur until he received the ball. insanity

at least it wasn't a first time hit from the 18 so a complete repeat of recent goals conceded, but still the same end result. So annoying
 
That's entirely on bruno and eriksen. Terrible defending in the midfield

nice little run by the spurs guy to get open though
