Totally Unofficial 2023/24 Premier League Thread

Thought Maresca’s system looks a lot more fun to watch but we’re definitely still learning it. Also Ndidi is not an attacking midfielder. Game did a complete 180 when Praet came on. Also Nacho on for Vardy.

Also going to say Coady can’t come back soon enough. Vesty at the back is terrifying.

Is Ricardo playing that holding mid position out of necessity or tactically? He looked decent, I’m just used to seeing him at fullback.

Under Maresca he moves into midfield when we’re in possession. He’s looked pretty good there

This just in, Harry Maguire still sucks. West Ham should definitely pay £35M for him.

Whoa, what a finish to the most anticipated match of the season.

If McTominay stays at Manchester United, might be worth tracking who gets away with more fouls before being booked between him and Rodri. It would be more exciting than the Golden Boot race.

Are they doing the extended stoppage time in the PL as well as the championship this year?

FabRom reporting that West Ham are about to make their first signing of the summer and it's a good one.

Edson Alvarez from Ajax for 34/35 mil pounds. Good Rice replacement

It sure did feel great to watch City leading until the death only to lose at the very end. Somewhat cathartic.

Good start, they need 2-3 more players at least though.

Side note, the one season he was there for Everton, he was out hurt and we lost the cup final to Chelsea
