Cop made a whole point about this is my court date and either I or my lawyer could appear, otherwise yada yada yada.

I think he was just really bored. and then he had two other bored friends show up.

Isn't that a non-moving violation (i.e. no license points)? Just pay it and be done.

Won't a judge usually just dismiss the charge if you show up with the sticker and your receipt? Kind of like forgetting to take your driver's license with you.
