Thankfully, our (GA) power of executive clemency is vested in a constitutional board, not the governor (and because it's constitutional, the MAGA asshats in the General Assembly need a 2/3 super majority vote in each chamber to put it to a vote of the people).
 
And in light of the nutjob threatening a federal judge these people will not be getting the same protection.

Requiring the identity of grand jurors to be public probably had some utility in promoting transparency and allowing defendants the opportunity to challenge indictments in the event of some undisclosed conflict of interest (which could easily be done without making the names public), but in this day and age, it seems like making sure the ordinary citizens who are required to serve if called upon (assuming they don’t have a qualifying excuse) don’t get harassed, physically harmed, or killed really outweighs any other concerns.
