trump is not a fascist

We don't know what Trump is yet. We really don't. So far his first two tweets after being elected completely contradict one another.

Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete, and they regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties.[7] Such a state is led by a strong leader—such as a dictator and a martial government composed of the members of the governing fascist party—to forge national unity and maintain a stable and orderly society.[7] Fascism rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature, and views political violence, war, and imperialism as means that can achieve national rejuvenation.[8][9][10][11] Fascists advocate a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky through protectionist and interventionist economic policies.[12]

sounds a lot like a lot of people calling themselves socialist

ITT: Sailor once again shows that he has no idea what socialism is or means.

It is an effective rhetorical device, though. "Some people are saying" was completely genius this election.

Both sides have engaged heavily in that 'proof'.

False equivalency was another effective device.

This is a really stupid post, though you are quite smart.

Trump has told us exactly who he is. He cheered Putin's murder of journalists and opposition leaders ("At least he's a leader, you know, unlike what we have in this country"). He refused the first opportunity to distance himself from David Duke. He set up foreign enemies to focus the rage of his volk at. He called for the execution of five innocents. He ended the campaign with an ad cut from a speech absolutely full of anti-semitism. His election has been met with an orgy of racism, anti-semitism, islamophobia, and outright Nazism. None of it has been condemned. Take the man at his goddamn word.
