I am a horrible writer, but wanted to give this a shot so be kind.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when out on the court
Wake players weren’t moving, and all out of sorts
The four fans made no noise, and wore bags on their heads
In hopes that [Redacted] soon would be dead
The other team hustled with no 2 star recruits
A point that coach Buzz always made moot
He wore crappy ties which made fans look away
Only Naz T and Braces were shouting “Hurray”
When up in the stands the fans let out a Yawn
Wake had closed to 2 points on the worst team in the Socon
TV’s turned on as the wonderful news spread
Maybe Buzz team wasn’t quite dead
The empty seats filled up in the spacious Lawrence Joel
As the players busted there ass to dig out of this hole
When what to my wondrous eyes should I see
But a lead as CJ, from the corner, hits a 3
With the little old coach so incompetent and thick
He pull CJ from the game incomprehensibly quick
More rapid than eagles the other team came back
And 5 minutes later the game was all out of whack
"Now Travis, Now Tree, Now Codi and Thomas
Rebound you bitches or I’ll cut you I promise
Get to the top of the key to rebound the ball
Listen to me or I’ll blame you all"
The shot came down and landed under the hoop
In came the other team in one giant swoop
With all the Wake players out near the arc
No chance to rebound, again Bzzz had left his mark
And then in a twinkling the game was all done
In spite of their their coach Wake Forest had won
Travis didn’t listen and was under the rim
Which is where the ball came right down to him
He grabbed the loose rebound, kicked it out to Tree
Who threw up a prayer and banked in a 3
A bundle of fans jumped out of their seats
Kicked buzz in the nuts, oh what a treat
In his press conference Buzz took all the credit
“The culture is so good, I knew I could do it”
He then blamed the players for such a close game
Poor Bzzzz had 9 years of crappy players of course they’re to blame
So the media started to ask poignant questions
Like “you seem pretty excited for beating number 320 in the nation”
“Of course I am since it was a Tuesday today
And 7pm at night is the worst time to play”
He spoke no more words and went back to the lockers
Wake had beat Furman Oh what a shocker
Wake Fans weren’t happy since The Deacs were a mess
But Premiere Wellman was blind, “Oh heavens yes”
The BOT finally interceded and kicked Buzz out the door
To set new records for incompetence and find another teams floor
But I heard him exclaim from his Prius with a moan
“To hell with you all, and your [Redacted] zone”
