Ukraine is game to you?

And the debate will continue for months/years going forward on what the World could have or should have done differently.

In a post nuclear world there is not shit we can or should do. Sucks for Ukraine, but these war hawking Neolib/con pudits trying to bait us into larger conflicts can GTFO.

Can you imagine how many internet click on news websites a nuclear conflict would generate? News orgs/pundits want wars because it means big bucks for them.

I mean, there is definitely shit we CAN do. Should is an entirely different issue entirely.

Elon has challenged Putin to a duel to end the conflict. Probably bioengineering his aspergers body as I type.

Let me know when you're going to stop projecting a lack of resolve because Putin is not going to stop before that. If we back down every time he escalates, be it through rhetoric or actual actions, he will constantly escalate and continuously get what he wants while we wring our hands.

Russia’s Daniil Medvedev, the top-ranked male tennis player in the world, is the No. 1 seed at the big Indian Wells tournament set to finish this weekend.

Should he still be playing while his country is invading Ukraine?

Russia’s Alex Ovechkin is one of the most gifted hockey players the world has seen. And oh, by the way, he’s a longtime supporter of President Vladimir V. Putin. Should Ovechkin still be scoring goals for the N.H.L.’s Washington Capitals?

Should any Russian nationals be allowed on the sports world stage right now?

In an effort to condemn sports-loving Putin and further isolate his nation, the sports world reacted with remarkable swiftness as the war in Ukraine began. We’ve seen Russia barred from World Cup qualifiers in soccer and its basketball teams cut from international play. Tennis called off its Moscow tournament, and Formula 1 ended ties with the Russian Grand Prix.

Even the normally tentative International Olympic Committee got in the mix by recommending athletes from Russia and Belarus, which has supported the invasion, be barred from sports events, and the Paralympics after some wavering did just that.

What's the thought here? Do we let the Russians compete or ban their ass from all athletic competition?

For international competitions where an athlete is representing the country, yes. For individuals who happen to be Russian, no.

Corpses can't click. Not to mention the EMP would knock out all our beloved devices.
