So so much good new music right now, it's hard to keep up. Saying that, I'm revisiting this Sylvan Esso and it's fucking great. This is what Lykke Li should sound like.

Not to sound like a hater but FJM mailed it in LIVE in Salt Lake earlier this summer. I was expecting better given this thread doesn't go a page without mentioning him.
 
I'm not really a fan. Its okay I guess, lyrics are good, but really just acousticish circular songs that don't really go anywhere. Especially when it comes to composition, its really a cheap facsimile of what he and Robin did with Fleet Foxes.

Beach House's most recent album, Depression Cherry, was released in August. However, the band has just announced Thank Your Lucky Stars, another full-length LP due October 16.

"We are very excited, it's an album being released the way we want," the band wrote on Twitter. "It's not a companion to Depression Cherry or a surprise or b-sides." (We beg to differ: It very much IS a surprise.)

i assume that has to be glastonbury, one of bonnaroo and lolla, and... maybe governor's ball?
